Job Title: AML Analyst

About the Role

RPC is seeking an experienced AML Analyst to join our central team based in Bristol. As an AML Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting client due diligence checks on our clients and matters in line with our anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out CDD checks on clients and matters, drafting risk assessments for Partner review and approval.
  • Escalate higher-risk clients and matters to Risk and/or the relevant MLRO for review and approval, making recommendations for next steps.
  • Liaise with lawyers to identify and verify information about clients and matters to support risk assessments.
  • Use open sources and databases to research and document relevant information.
  • Manage workload, following up with fee earners to ensure CDD is progressing on assigned work.
  • Manage the centralised team inbox, addressing general CDD queries and distributing work fairly among team members.
  • Perform general client and matter onboarding administration.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a client and matter onboarding role or AML-focused role.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Experience with World Check, Compliance Catalyst, or Orbis.
  • Experience with Intapp.
  • Experience in the legal sector.
  • Experience drafting risk assessments and completing CDD checks.
