Job Title: Non Medical Prescriber

We are seeking an experienced Non Medical Prescriber to join our team at With You, a leading provider of drug and alcohol services. As a Non Medical Prescriber, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality recovery care to our clients.

About the Role

As a Non Medical Prescriber, you will be responsible for carrying out clinical assessments, diagnoses, and clinical management in line with our policies and procedures. You will work closely with our recovery workers and operational and clinical leadership to ensure that the clinical and psychosocial needs of our clients are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out clinical assessments and diagnoses in line with our policies and procedures
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the needs of our clients
  • Work closely with our recovery workers and operational and clinical leadership to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Provide education and support to our clients on harm reduction, clinics, vaccination and blood testing programs
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver the best outcomes for our clients
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • First-level registration as a Nurse or a Registered Pharmacist
  • Successful completion of the supplementary/independent prescriber course and an appropriate entry on the NMC register or GPhC register
  • Experience of delivering nursing interventions in a community setting
  • Knowledge of the issues affecting substance misusers, including the impact on their wider health
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, using collaborative and supportive approaches to your work
