Job Title: Non Medical Prescriber

We are seeking an experienced Non Medical Prescriber to join our team at With You, a leading provider of drug and alcohol services. As a Non Medical Prescriber, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality recovery care to our clients, working closely with our Recovery Workers and Operational & Clinical Leadership to ensure the clinical and psychosocial needs of our clients are met.

About the Role

As a Non Medical Prescriber, you will be responsible for carrying out clinical assessments, diagnoses, and clinical management in line with our policies and procedures. You will also be expected to keep up to date with developments in treatments and contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of interventions with our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out clinical assessments, diagnoses, and clinical management in line with our policies and procedures
  • Keep up to date with developments in treatments and contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of interventions with our clients
  • Work closely with our Recovery Workers and Operational & Clinical Leadership to ensure the clinical and psychosocial needs of our clients are met
  • Provide high-quality recovery care to our clients, including harm reduction, clinics, vaccination and blood testing programmes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • First-level registration as a Nurse or a Registered Pharmacist (GPhC)
  • Successfully completed the supplementary/independent prescriber course and hold an appropriate entry on the NMC register or GPhC register
  • Experience of delivering nursing interventions in a community setting
  • Knowledge of the issues affecting substance misusers, including the impact on their wider health
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, using collaborative and supportive approaches to your work
