Apparel/Clothing Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Apparel/Clothing Designer to join our in-house Design team in Liverpool. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality apparel products for our own-brands and licensed brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop apparel products, including silhouettes, PJ's, nightwear, socks, underwear, t-shirts, and athleisure for men, women, babies, and kids.
  • Collaborate with the Buyers, Category Managers, Design Studio Manager, and suppliers in factories overseas to ensure timely and accurate delivery of designs and technical specifications.
  • Work closely with the Clothing Buying team to create designs, technical packs, mood boards, and packaging from up-to-date market trends.
  • Develop and maintain a robust understanding of garment construction, print, and manufacturing processes and limitations.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in CAD and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator).
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, print, and manufacturing processes and limitations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
