Production Manager Job Description

Are you a seasoned production professional looking for a new challenge? We're seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our team at Vickerstock.

As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of our business and driving Operational Excellence. You'll be responsible for creating, implementing, and delivering high-quality production plans that maximize yield and minimize downtime and waste.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing production plans to meet business targets
  • Ensuring all production staff are operating at full optimisation and production processes are running efficiently
  • Maintaining Quality Management systems and standards
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and implementing changes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety

We're looking for someone with a strong background in manufacturing, excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work flexibly, including night and weekend shifts. Experience with MRP systems, Lean initiatives, and NEBOSH certification would be a distinct advantage.
