We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Psychiatrist in Community Child & Adolescent Eating Disorders, you will play a crucial role in providing diagnosis, management, and consultation for complex mental health presentations to the multidisciplinary team.
Main Responsibilities- Provide psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for children and adolescents with eating disorders and complex mental health needs.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Provide consultation and advice to professionals in the wider network of the young person and/or family.
- Participate in the yearly appraisal of all medical duties.
- MRCPsych or equivalent qualification.
- MBBS or equivalent qualification.
- Full GMC Registration.
- Section 12 Approval.
- Certificate of completion of relevant Specialist Training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychiatry of Learning Disability (or within 6 months).
- Formal training in management and administration.
- Participated in research and published papers and original work in peer-reviewed journals.
- Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships and boundaries with young people.
