Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Administrator to join our team at Centre People Appointments. The successful candidate will be responsible for order processing, inventory control, shipping control, and other administrative tasks related to the aerospace and naval marine business.

The ideal candidate will have a business-level fluency in both Japanese and English, with experience in import/export business being a plus. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong organizational and planning skills, and attention to detail are essential for this role.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Process requests for quotes, purchase orders, and invoices
  • Arrange shipments - inland, export to Japan, import from Japan
  • Take delivery schedule control and follow up
  • Make data entries onto the company's computer system
  • Generate shipping documents-export/import
  • Handle claim disposition
  • Take care of post delivery
  • Take care of document filing
  • Coordinate guest accommodation (transportation, hotel, restaurant)
  • Take care of secretarial jobs for coordinator, manager, and/or MD

Requirements:

  • Business-level fluency in both Japanese and English
  • Experience in import/export business (desirable)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management skills

Working Conditions:

  • Office-based
  • No visa support
  • Permanent, full-time
  • 9:00-17:00 from Monday to Friday
  • Salary: £24-26K depending on experience, plus good benefits
