Job Summary:

The Entertainer is seeking a Seasonal Night Stock Assistant to join our team in Belfast Castle. As a key member of our night stock team, you will be responsible for ensuring our store is fully stocked and ready for the next day's busy trade.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accepting deliveries and working with the delivery stock to ensure it is properly racked and stored
  • Replenishing sections from the stockroom and merchandising as needed
  • Pricing, tagging, and maintaining price sweep compliance
  • Setting up promotional displays and maintaining window displays
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment

Working Hours:

This is a seasonal contract, starting from 14th October 2024, and ending on 24th December 2024. You will work a 20-hour contract initially, learning the role before transitioning to night shift patterns, with hours per week up to 37.5. When on 37.5 hours per week, you will typically start work at 10pm or 11pm at night and work through till the next morning.

Requirements:

  • Ability to commit to working the entire night shift duration, which varies from 2 to 8 weeks depending on the store
  • Reliability and flexibility in working hours
  • Fast-paced and efficient work style, with ability to maintain a tidy and safe environment
  • Physical fitness to move stock around the store, both independently and as part of a team
  • Trustworthiness and responsibility to achieve tasks set, with ability to apply logic and communicate well if problems arise
