We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Hatfield. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on buildings and equipment.

The ideal candidate will have electrical, plumbing or decorating skills and experience of working in a similar role within the sector. You will also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Highlights:

  • Estimated Salary: £31,700 per annum
  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Opportunity to work with a community-facing organisation
  • Overtime available

Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and repair of building fabric, including redecoration works
  • Lock changes, filter changes and minor electrical, plumbing and carpentry work
  • Moving furniture and equipment
  • Tiling work, footpath maintenance and gutter clearing
  • Supervising contractors to ensure safe systems of work
  • Completing regular safety checks

Requirements:

  • Electrical, plumbing or decorating qualifications and experience
  • Experience of working in a similar role within the sector
