Job Title: Risk Management Specialist

Location: Remote

Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum

In this role, you will assist the Programme Assurance Manager in conducting programme and project assurance reviews, evaluating business risks, assessing processes, and scrutinizing internal controls to provide an unbiased assessment of programme and project governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of a comprehensive audit plan designed to provide stakeholders with confidence that key projects and programmes will achieve their objectives and deliver anticipated benefits.
  • Plan and deliver programme assurance reviews, prioritising key risk areas within projects and programmes, and focussing on governance, risk management and internal controls.
  • Support in the testing of controls, analysis of data, and evaluation of compliance with policies, regulations, standards, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience within Internal Audit, project delivery or working within a key project control function such as a Project Management Office (PMO).
  • Understanding of risk management and internal controls.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications, as well as collaboration tools such as Slack and JIRA.
