Technical Estimator Role

Orion Electrotech Sales Careers is seeking a skilled Technical Estimator/Sales Support to join their team. As a leading provider of innovative ventilation solutions, the company specializes in cutting-edge systems, including intermittent extract fans, continuous running extract, and heat recovery systems.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the sales team with technical expertise, estimating projects, and designing ducted ventilation systems. While experience in the ventilation industry is desirable, candidates with strong mechanical and technical skills will be given priority. Full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply knowledge of air movement principles to support the product range, including extract fans and heat recovery systems.
  • Interpret technical drawings and ensure compliance with industry regulations, including Building Regulations.
  • Prepare accurate quotations and calculation sheets in response to customer inquiries.
  • Proficiently use Microsoft Office, in-house software, bespoke Revit-based ducting software, and AutoCAD LT.
  • Provide technical product support to clients via email and phone, and attend client meetings when necessary.
  • Support the external sales team by providing technical expertise and guidance.
