Pertemps TM is a well-established Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance firm with over three decades of experience in the industry. We specialize in providing comprehensive M&E building services maintenance across various sectors including commercial offices, healthcare, education, retail, transportation, and manufacturing throughout the UK.

Position: Mobile Air Conditioning Technician – Zones 1 – 3

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, totaling 40 hours per week.

In this role, you will operate on a mobile basis, performing maintenance and repair tasks on air conditioning systems as well as other mechanical and electrical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Air Conditioning: Maintenance and repairs on VRV, VRF, Split, and Multisplit systems.
Mechanical Duties:
  • Service and repair of mechanical systems including Air Handling Units (AHUs), Fan Coil Units (FCUs), basic plumbing, and temperature checks for heating systems.
  • Maintenance of pumps and motors.
Electrical Responsibilities:
  • Conduct emergency light tests and fire alarm testing.
  • Work on lighting systems, ballasts, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), and Building Management Systems (BMS).
  • Perform first and second fix installations on lighting.
Qualifications Required:
  • FGAS 2079 CAT 1 certification.
  • City & Guilds or NVQ in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
  • An electrical qualification, with a minimum of 17th Edition.
