Strategic Attendance Lead – Cardinal Wiseman School

Grade: Grade 6 – Actual salary £27, – £32,

Hours: 37 hours per week term time plus 5 teacher training days

Contract Type: Permanent

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team at The Romero Catholic Academy as a Strategic Attendance Lead. This distinctive role will work with students, families, staff, and other agencies to identify pupils who are not achieving full attendance and build the capacity and expertise within our school to address attendance issues.

You will lead on our Attendance strategy and manage a case load of students with additional needs and their families. This will involve home visits to families in our school community.

The successful candidate will:

  • Demonstrate a successful track record of intervention work with children, young people, and their families
  • Have experience in supporting and engaging hard-to-reach families and delivering packages of support
  • Have experience of undertaking Early Help assessments and current Child Protection procedures
  • Hold NVQ3 or equivalent in an appropriate discipline
  • Have excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Be able to work collaboratively as part of a team and develop positive relationships
