Job Overview

IO Associates is seeking a skilled Technical Security Systems Specialist to join our team in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to work with cutting-edge security equipment and make a real impact on airport safety.

About the Role

We are looking for a self-motivated individual with excellent technical skills and strong problem-solving abilities to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair complex security systems.

This includes X-ray and CT scanners, Explosive Detection Systems (EDS), and other critical technology used to protect passengers and cargo.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience working with Electromechanical systems, preferably in the medical equipment sector.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential, as well as the ability to adapt to changing schedules and work requirements.
  • Travel may be required domestically and internationally, and the successful candidate must be comfortable lifting and carrying heavy equipment (minimum 25kg).
  • Navigating challenging airport environments is also a key aspect of this role.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must be a UK citizen or legally authorized to live and work in Belfast. A Basic Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance and Counter-Terrorist Check (CTC) are also mandatory.

The estimated salary for this position is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
