Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ambulift Driver to join our team at the airport. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting passengers with reduced mobility and driving Ambulift hi-lift vehicles to transport them safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist passengers with reduced mobility and transport them safely and efficiently using the Ambulift hi-lift vehicle
• Drive vehicles ranging from minibuses to Class 2 rigid heavy goods vehicles, with full training and instruction provided
• Maintain operational reliability of each vehicle, documenting any defects as per internal process
• Organise the efficient and effective transportation of multiple passengers, ensuring on-time departures
• Use a PDA to ensure compliance with time stamping and update the Allocator on progress of jobs at all times using PDA's and Radio
Requirements
• Previous experience as an HGV or Hi-lift vehicle driver
• Airport Airside Driving experience preferred but not essential
• Clean DVLA Driving Licence
• 5-year checkable work history
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain professional conduct in challenging situations
