Key Responsibilities:
- Developing Safety Policies: Create and implement policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment, including conducting regular risk assessments and maintaining records.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential hazards in the workplace and devise strategies to mitigate these risks, including DSE, manual handling, lone working, pregnant workers, and young workers.
- Compliance Management: Ensure the organisation adheres to all relevant health, safety, and environmental laws and regulations, including maintaining excellent records and negotiating with contractors.
- Emergency Response Planning: Create and maintain emergency response plans for various potential incidents.
- Employee Training and Engagement: Conduct training sessions for employees on safety practices and promote a culture of safety awareness.
