Public Transport Data Specialist

Buckinghamshire Council is seeking a skilled Public Transport Data Specialist to join their team in Aylesbury. The successful candidate will have experience in managing data and processes, with a strong background in the operation or promotion of public transport services.
About the Role- The main responsibilities of the role include managing the flow of data from operators regarding bus service timetable changes, checking, inputting and exporting that information into national databases, internal systems and onto roadside information.
- In addition, the role will involve responsibility for managing the NAPTAN bus stop database, ensuring it is maintained accurately and exported regularly to the national database.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with contract providers, monitoring the passenger transport mailbox and ensuring faults are reported and followed up. The salary for this position is around £35,000 per annum, making it an attractive option for those looking to develop their career in data management.
