About The Role
We are seeking an exceptional Accessories Stores Coordinator to join our team in Eastleigh. This site-based position involves managing two independent accessory businesses (Cable Accessories and Connectivity). In this role, you will lead a team of 10+ stores employees, including Team Leaders, and be responsible for overseeing and improving the day-to-day operations of the stores.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day activities within the Cable Accessories and Connectivity Stores.
- Directly manage the Connectivity Stores Team Leader, Cable Accessories Stores Team Leader, and respective Stores teams.
- Regularly conduct management spot checks of goods-in to ensure accuracy and quality, liaising with relevant internal teams as needed.
- Through managing monthly stock-check cycles, ensure accurate and updated stock levels on SAP.
- Evaluate and meet criteria for end-of-year stock audits with external and internal accounts.
- Develop and implement strategies, alongside the Accessories Supply Chain Manager, to improve efficiency of the stores system via kanban, continuous replenishment, just-in-time, etc.
- Maintain efficient picking activity to ensure continuous material flow to production.
- Proactively manage aged stock and inventory of finished goods to minimize their levels.
- Ensure health and safety awareness is maintained at all times.
- Support the Accessories Supply Chain Manager and Logistics Coordinator by proactively reporting on stores issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior experience in Manufacturing, Production, Engineering, or Operations environments.
- Proactive approach with strong communication skills.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in coaching and mentoring teams and individuals.
- Able to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Experience with SAP, MRP, MES & MS Office software.
- Solid experience in supply chain/warehouse operations.
