Job Description

**Design and Manufacturing Engineer Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Design and Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Montezuma Winery Llc. As a key member of our Engineering Team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative manufacturing solutions to strengthen our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • **Interpret Customer Drawings**: Interpret customer-provided drawings to ensure accurate component manufacture.
  • **Design and Detailing**: Design and detail piece parts, jigs, and fixtures to ensure effective solutions for component manufacture.
  • **Bill of Materials and Routings**: Construct Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routings to provide intuitive component manufacture instructions.
  • **Collaboration and Support**: Assist other engineering colleagues with best practice solutions and support the quality department to ensure fault-free solutions within the manufacturing cycle.
  • **Value Engineering**: Engage in Value Engineering activities to reduce process costs of manufacture.
  • **Engineering Drawing Interpretation**: Understand and interpret engineering drawings, including geometric tolerancing.
  • **Hands-on Experience**: Possess hands-on experience and knowledge of steel fabrication equipment, such as laser cutting, press-braking, and welding processes.
  • **CAD Skills**: Proficient in CAD software, including 3D and 2D design using Radan and Inventor.
  • **Communication and Leadership**: Demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to delegate and communicate effectively with management and staff.
  • **Technical Skills**: Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • **Methodical Approach**: Possess a methodical approach, with the ability to balance workloads for each area.
  • **Team Player**: Demonstrate a strong team player attitude, with the ability to work under your own initiative.
Requirements:
  • **Engineering Background**: Possess an engineering background, with a strong understanding of design and manufacturing principles.
  • **CAD Experience**: Proficient in CAD software, including 3D and 2D design.
  • **Steel Fabrication Knowledge**: Possess hands-on experience and knowledge of steel fabrication equipment.
  • **Communication Skills**: Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to delegate and communicate effectively.
  • **Technical Skills**: Proficient in MS Office applications.
