We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Business Assurance and Performance to join our team at Sodexo. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of an efficient and effective function, including overall functional responsibilities for set targets, providing Business Assurance to the Prison Director.
As a senior leader, you will contribute and implement the Function's objectives as defined in the establishment's Business Plan and Roadmap. This function will include activities within the establishment Business Delivery & Planning, Audit & Assurance, and interface with Finance, Health and Safety, Facilities Management, and HR to monitor and support strategic priorities.
You will be responsible for managing budgets and approvers for procurement within the establishment, as well as being the interface with the client on all contractual matters. You will also drive and monitor compliance against Sodexo, client, and contractual instructions, performance against Sodexo, client, and contractual targets, and operational assurance through local compliance tools, client tools, and the self-audit programme.
Additionally, you will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships through scheduled meetings to discuss compliance and assurance, strategic changes, and contractual measures. You will also be responsible for undertaking some or all other management tasks, including promoting Justice Services policy in all activities and behaviours, managing Prisoners' Complaints Process within the Function, and ensuring all litigation claims relevant to the area have been dealt with in accordance with policy.
We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record in contracts and performance management, a clear understanding of commercial Prison contracts, contract knowledge, and client management skills. You should also have a high level of risk management skills, effective stakeholder relationship management, and exceptional communication skills.
