Job Summary

DAC Beachcroft is seeking a Supervisor to join its National Motor Injury team. The Motor Injury team handles a variety of motor claims, including pre-litigation, MOJ, infant approvals, OIC, small, fast, and multi-track cases. The team employs a progressive approach, analyzing behaviors and trends to provide insurers with bespoke strategies and influence market changes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct supervision of a team of handlers responsible for pre-litigated and litigated cases with values not exceeding £100k.
  • Run a reduced caseload of own cases and/or provide support to senior lawyers on complex injury matters.
  • Technical supervision of claims, including all interim and performance reviews.
  • Absence management, cascading, and communicating information.
  • Motivating and engaging the team, overseeing their well-being, and ensuring files are run proactively and effectively to conclusion.

Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience handling a caseload including personal injury, credit hire, or similar case types.
  • High personal compliance with client SLAs, protocols, and KPIs.
  • Good people management skills, including the ability to motivate, coach, and mentor team members.
  • Strong IT skills, including Excel and Word proficiency.
  • Prioritization and organization skills, including the ability to manage competing demands.
