About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior AV Technician to manage and coordinate all audiovisual requirements for the organization. This role involves setting up and operating AV equipment for events, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing technical support to staff and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the setup and operation of AV equipment for live events, conferences, and meetings.
  • Coordinate with event planners and stakeholders to understand AV requirements and provide solutions.
  • Manage inventory and maintenance of AV equipment.
  • Train and supervise junior AV staff and technicians.
  • Stay up to date with the latest AV technology and trends.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for AV-related issues.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate AV systems with organizational infrastructure.
Technical Requirements:
  • Operating Epiphan Pearl.
  • Managing Live events and Townhalls on Microsoft Teams.
  • Microsoft 700 training.
  • Editing content in Adobe Premiere.
  • Confident using Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Microsoft Teams room and connecting components experience.
Person Specification:
  • Proven experience as an AV technician or similar role (3-5 years).
  • Strong knowledge of AV equipment and software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications in AV technology would be an advantage.
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
