Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the academic and clinical development of our dental undergraduate students at the University of Bristol. As a Clinical Lecturer in Primary Care Dentistry, you will play a crucial role in clinical supervision, teaching, assessment, and management duties within the School.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical supervision and contribute to clinical teaching, tutorials, and wider academic management and organisation of the School.
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and assessment to dental undergraduate students.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum and assessment strategies.
  • Participate in research and knowledge exchange activities that enhance the School's reputation and contribute to the advancement of dental education.

Requirements

  • Hold a BDS or equivalent qualification.
  • Be fully registered with the General Dental Council.
  • Have strong experience in primary care dentistry.
  • Be well-organised and enthusiastic with a keen interest in teaching.

Working Arrangements

We are particularly interested to hear from candidates who can work Monday and/or Thursday.
