Role Overview

The University of Bristol seeks an exceptional Clinical Lecturer to contribute to the delivery of dental undergraduate education and clinical supervision in Restorative Dentistry.

The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the academic and clinical experience of our students, working closely with the School's leadership and academic staff.

We are looking for an individual with a strong track record of teaching, clinical supervision, and academic management, who can contribute to the School's mission to deliver high-quality education and research.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical supervision and contribute to clinical teaching, tutorials, and wider academic management and organisation of the School.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality teaching and assessment materials, in line with the School's curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Contribute to the development of the School's research and knowledge transfer activities, working closely with colleagues and partners.

Requirements

  • Hold a BDS or equivalent qualification, and be fully registered with the General Dental Council.
  • Have a strong track record of teaching, clinical supervision, and academic management, preferably in a dental education setting.
  • Be able to work effectively in a team, communicating complex ideas and information to colleagues and students.
  • Have a keen interest in teaching and a commitment to delivering high-quality education and research.
