Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Receptionist to join our team at 1 The Island Quarter. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing a warm and welcoming experience. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and responsibilities, and will be required to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage the front desk and reception area, ensuring that it is clean, tidy, and well-organized at all times.
- Handle cash and credit transactions, process payments, and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with events and functions, providing support to the events team and ensuring that all logistical arrangements are in place.
- Develop and maintain relationships with our suppliers, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring that we are providing the best possible service and experience for our guests.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of people.
- Ability to work in a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to the success of the business.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of hospitality software.
