Job Overview:

We are seeking a qualified social worker to join our team in Wirral. As a Child Protection Specialist, you will work with children, young people, and their families to determine long-term plans and offer stability and consistency.

About the Role:

This is a temporary contract for 3 months, working 37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation). You will be required to start on a date subject to DBS and reference clearance. The salary for this role is £30-40 per hour (dependent on experience).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with child, young people, and their families from initial assessment to determining a long-term plan, offering stability and consistency throughout.
  • Liaise with other professionals to ensure the safety of children under close supervision of a supportive Team Manager.

Requirements:

  • DipSW or equivalent qualification.
  • Registered with the HCPC.
  • Current DBS.
  • Car driver.
