Senior Commissioning Engineer Required

Bennett and Game Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Commissioning Engineer to join our client, a leading specialist in smoke ventilation with over 30 years of experience in the industry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commissioning mechanical extract systems and smoke ventilation systems, with a proven track record of managing projects to ensure timely completion and providing quotations for clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commissioning of mechanical extract systems and smoke ventilation systems
  • Project management to ensure timely completion
  • Quotation provision for clients
  • Wire, fix, and commission mechanical extract systems and smoke ventilation products
  • Manage large or small installations, ensuring team members work to correct design and standards
  • Communicate with other trades to ensure smooth project completion
Requirements:
  • NVQ Electrical installations or equivalent
  • At least 5 years' experience in commissioning extract or smoke ventilation systems
  • SSSTS or higher
  • JIB/ECS card Holder
  • Span set, PASMA, IPAF
  • Working knowledge of ADB; BS 9991 & BS 7346 pt 8
  • Working knowledge of multiple manufacturers' equipment, e.g., Colt, SCS, FDS & SE Controls
  • Current full clean driving licence
  • NIC/IC electrical tester
