About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Firearms Licensing Enquiry Officer to join our team at West Mercia Police. As a key member of our organization, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of policing in our three counties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough enquiries to assess applicants' suitability to possess firearms, ammunition, and/or explosives.
  • Make recommendations based on relevant legislation, Home Office guidelines, and Force Policy.
  • Conduct inspections of dealers, clubs, and ranges to ensure compliance.
