About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Network Consultant to join our team at AECOM. As a Principal Network Consultant, you will be responsible for managing environmental inputs across a diverse range of marine projects. This includes the preparation of EIA screening and scoping reports, environmental assessments/Environmental Statements, and supporting assessments and documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the preparation of EIA screening and scoping reports, environmental assessments/Environmental Statements, and supporting assessments and documents.
  • Provide expert advice on environmental impact assessments and mitigation measures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to identify environmental constraints and opportunities for impact avoidance and mitigation.
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of projects.
  • Manage client relationships and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements
  • Comprehensive EIA consultancy experience, with proven skills in managing the preparation of environmental reports and the technical review of specialist chapters.
  • A detailed understanding of marine consenting and licensing regimes around the UK and ideally Ireland.
  • The ability to support collaborative teams, coordinating inputs from technical specialists.
  • Project management skills, including programming, staff resource, and budget management.
  • A commitment to innovation and continuing professional development.
