Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Principal Resourcing is seeking a Cover Supervisor to join our team of temporary staff. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering a variety of subjects across the KS3 and KS4 curriculum in the absence of the teacher.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons and learning activities to a class of 25-30 students
  • Take responsibility for the supervision and support of students during lessons
  • Ensure students are engaging in their learning and following the behaviour policy of the school
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English at Grade C and above
  • Confident and positive approach to working with children
  • Passion for education and commitment to supporting student learning
  • Previous experience working with children or young adults is preferable, but not essential as full training will be given
