Quality Assurance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Gü Desserts. As a key member of our factory operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance in all aspects of our production process.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and proven experience in a factory-facing Quality Manager role. You will be responsible for managing product quality assurance and control, leading compliance review meetings, and developing clear action plans to drive excellence.
You will work closely with our Shift Production Managers and Maintenance Manager to ensure daily issues are managed, and you will be responsible for creating clear development plans for our Process Controllers. You will also oversee all Critical Control Points (CCPs) to ensure food safety is maintained at all times.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of BRC, HACCP, and other food quality standards, as well as auditing experience both internal and external. You will be a proactive and assertive individual with excellent leadership and supervisory skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Drive technical compliance in all aspects of the factory as defined in the FSQM System.
- Manage product quality assurance and control to ensure all products produced on site are conforming to food safety, quality, and legal standards and requirements.
- Lead compliance review meetings and report back on any emerging trends to ensure all areas of risk are captured.
- Develop clear action plans driving excellence, including customer complaints, internal and external NCR linked to factory compliance, pest control, and GMP audit results.
- Actively work alongside the Shift Production Managers and Maintenance Manager to ensure daily issues are managed, developing clear action plans while always focusing on driving compliance.
- Create clear development plans for all PCs, providing leadership with clear direction to support succession planning and team engagement.
- Oversee all Critical Control Points (CCPs) to ensure food safety is maintained at all times.
- Manage and regularly carry out GMP audits with the PCs to ensure the standard of the auditing is high.
Requirements:
- Full Clean Driving Licence required for role.
- Strong technical background and proven experience in a factory-facing Quality Manager role.
- Experience in leading and supervising a small team.
- Experience of working in a chilled food manufacturing environment is preferable.
- A strong understanding of BRC, HACCP, and other food quality standards.
- Auditing experience both internal and external.
- Resilience, proactive, and assertive, with excellent leadership and supervisory skills.
- Computer literate with a working knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and SAP.
