Senior Drainage Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Drainage Engineer to join our West Yorkshire team at Waterman Aspen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality drainage design projects for our clients.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Drainage Engineer to work on a variety of projects, including public, private, and third sector drainage design projects. You will be responsible for designing all aspects of drainage from concept to detailed design, managing project schedules, and ensuring quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver drainage projects from concept to detailed design
  • Manage project schedules and ensure quality deliverables
  • Supervise design teams and conduct site surveys and inspections
  • Prepare reports and specifications, and collect and assimilate data and statistics
  • Work with hydraulic modeling software, AutoCAD/Civil3D, and 3D design tools
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant qualification in an Engineering/Technical discipline or equivalent experience in the UK
  • Proven experience of hydraulic modeling software, such as Micro Drainage
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil3D or similar
  • Familiarity with 3D design tools and BIM
  • A Full UK driving license
