Job Title: AML / Compliance Analyst

About the Role:

Mash Group is seeking a highly skilled AML / Compliance Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our compliance department, you will be responsible for ensuring that our company adheres to all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-Day Compliance Function: Oversee the daily operations related to compliance within the company, ensuring that all activities are conducted in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Regulatory Interpretation: Interpret and communicate the latest relevant regulatory, legislative, and industry standard changes to ensure that the company remains compliant.
  • Policy Creation and Update: Develop and update company compliance policies and procedures to ensure that they are effective and up-to-date.
  • Staff Training: Conduct training to ensure that the company's internal structure adheres to the FCA's guidelines and that all employees are aware of their compliance responsibilities.
  • Control Systems: Develop and oversee control systems to maintain adherence to regulations and internal policies.
  • KPI Monitoring: Monitor individual key performance indicators to ensure that the company is meeting its compliance objectives.
  • External Compliance Audits: Manage external compliance audits to ensure that the company is prepared and compliant.
  • Suitability Reports: Maintain suitability report templates to reflect changing legislative, regulatory, and taxation landscapes.

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Minimum Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
  • Experience: Demonstrable experience in a compliance role within the financial services sector.
  • Technology: Technology-savvy with a willingness to embrace new systems and software.
  • Emotional Intelligence: High level of emotional intelligence.
  • Adaptability: Adaptable and flexible approach.
