Job Title: Head of Financial Operations

We are seeking an experienced Head of Financial Operations to lead our finance team in Darlington, United Kingdom.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, budgeting, and forecasting, and will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, reporting, and analysis.

  • Key Duties:
  • Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Manage the company's cash flow, ensuring financial stability.
  • Lead month-end and year-end financial processes, including audits.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and financial regulations.
  • Build strong relationships with external auditors, banks, and stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to senior management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years' experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
  • ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
