Sales Ledger Clerk Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Ledger Clerk to join our team at Proactive Personnel Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage sales orders, customer payments, and credit limits within our accounting system.
  • Verify and reconcile customer payments, invoices, and credit limits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Communicate with customers and sales staff to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to sales orders and payments.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, customer credit limits, and payment trends to inform business decisions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer accounts, sales orders, and payments.

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and systems.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 10am - 2pm.

Ad Hoc Tasks:

  • Open new customer accounts upon receipt of credit account application forms.
  • Keep customer account details up to date.
