As a key member of the ICT team at the Window Systems Division, the role of Business Systems Analyst will provide support and administration to key business systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing 1st line support for ICT systems
  • Coordinating 2nd line support with third party support companies
  • Managing third party support contracts, including monitoring of SLAs
  • Developing and promoting the use of business systems within the organisation
  • Data report writing using System Report Writing Tools and SSRS
  • User training
  • Project management of system enhancements

Key systems to be supported include:

  • ERP Business System & Warehouse Management System
  • Time & Attendance System
  • Group VAT Reporting

The ideal candidate will have a BSc/BA degree in a relevant subject, such as Accounting, Management, Finance, Mathematics, Business Management, Computer Science, Information Technology or Software Engineering.

They will also have experience of Microsoft Business Central ERP support and administration, SQL Server administration, and Manufacturing, Sales & Distribution operations.

Additionally, they will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

The role will involve working closely with the Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, Distribution and Finance teams to support daily operations.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of business systems and processes, and be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key performance measures will include:

  • Delivery of projects to support the strategy of the organisation in a timely fashion
  • Continued maintenance of ICT Business Systems to ensure security and availability to agreed service levels
  • Positive feedback from management and peers on job performance and teamwork
  • Ensuring Helpdesk requests are resolved to service level agreements

The role will involve working closely with the ICT Team Managers and the Head of ICT to ensure that the role is delivering against the strategic objectives of the organisation.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of business systems and processes, and be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
