Key Responsibilities

  • Creative Leadership:
    • Lead and inspire the design team to develop high-quality, creative concepts and designs across various media.
    • Establish the overall creative direction for projects, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.
    • Provide feedback, mentorship, and support to designers, encouraging professional growth and development
  • Strategic Vision:
    • Contribute to the development of creative strategies that support the company's goals and enhance brand identity.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to keep the team at the forefront of design innovation.
    • Proactively identify opportunities to elevate the brand's visual presence and customer experience.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and teamwork.
    • Conduct regular team meetings, creative reviews, and one-on-one sessions to ensure clear communication and alignment.
    • Recruit, onboard, and train new team members, building a high-performing design team
  • Quality Control:
    • Review and approve all creative work, ensuring it meets brand standards and client expectations.
    • Implement processes to maintain consistency and quality across all deliverables.
    • Handle client and stakeholder feedback with professionalism, making necessary adjustments to the creative work.
  • Client and Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Act as the main point of contact for creative discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Present creative concepts and campaigns to clients, articulating the design rationale and strategic thinking behind them.
    • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring their needs and feedback are incorporated into the creative process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a creative leadership role, preferably within an agency or fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of managing design teams and delivering successful creative projects.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative work across different media (digital, print, branding, etc.).
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creative excellence.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with UX/UI design and familiarity with tools like Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
  • Knowledge of video production, animation, and motion graphics.
  • Familiarity with web design and basic coding skills (HTML, CSS).
  • Understanding of marketing
