Seeking a skilled Culinary Expert to join our kitchen team at The Bridgewater Arms Whitbread Inns in Shrewsbury. As a Grill Chef, you will play a key role in preparing and cooking mouth-watering meals for our guests.

Job Summary

This is a permanent position with guaranteed hours of 20 per week across 4 days. You will work alongside our experienced kitchen team to deliver exceptional service and cuisine.

About the Role

As a Grill Chef, your primary responsibilities will include preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and presenting food to our high standards. You will also be involved in maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is up to £ per hour, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including a Whitbread Benefits card, which provides discounts on Premier Inn rooms and Whitbread Restaurant meals. You will also have access to a company pension and save as you earn scheme.

What You'll Do

You will be responsible for cooking a variety of dishes, including grilled meats and vegetables, and presenting them in a visually appealing way. You will also be expected to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous catering experience, particularly in a similar kitchen environment. You should be able to work well under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail. We are looking for someone who is passionate about food and has excellent communication skills.
