Job Overview

This position, reporting to the IT Manager, is based at our modern office in Northumberland Business Park, Cramlington. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering day-to-day IT support to our global workforce, deploying, maintaining, and repairing hardware and software systems.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide top-notch IT support to employees worldwide, utilizing various channels, including on-site visits, phone calls, and online messaging.
  • Offer expert guidance on technology deployment, service troubleshooting, root cause analysis, hardware and software inventory management.
  • Configure, install, maintain, and repair desktops, laptops, servers, client hardware, software, and network connections.
  • Troubleshoot basic Wi-Fi issues to determine whether they stem from network or device-related problems.
  • Develop and implement IT projects, collaborate with the business to stay informed about active and future initiatives.
  • Support Windows Server and Client OS's, Office 365, Active Directory, and other associated products.
  • Assist with manufacturing applications throughout the operation facility.
  • Update, document, and retain maintenance information for PC hardware and software items, ensuring accurate inventory management of installed hardware and software.
  • Liaise with and manage third-party vendors to acquire necessary hardware and software.

Requirements

  • A solid command of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role within an international organization.
  • Thorough knowledge of software and hardware.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and the Microsoft environment.
  • Knowledge of standard operating systems, including Windows 10 & 11, Windows Server 2019 & 2022, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory.
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals, LAN, and Wi-Fi, including cabling.
  • A grasp of copiers, printers, and AV equipment.
  • Kaseya expertise is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric mindset.
  • A practical, robust, and solution-focused personality, adept at working effectively in a team environment and building strong relationships with a diverse employee base.

Benefits Package

We offer an attractive and competitive salary, ranging from £35,000 to £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for growth and professional development within a dynamic global team.

This role involves working independently, prioritizing tasks efficiently, and maintaining effective communication with colleagues across cultures. Some travel may be required to our production site, retail store, distribution center, and occasionally pre-planned international destinations.
