Priory Road Medical Centre is seeking a skilled and experienced Practice Nurse to join our team. As a Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical centre.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the care of patients with long-term conditions, including diabetes management and chronic disease management.
  • Provide a range of nursing services, including venepuncture, ECG measurement, blood pressure measurement, and immunisations.
  • Support effective treatment and prescribing by working with patients to support adherence to prescribed treatments.
  • Educate and support patients as needed, including adopting healthy lifestyles and appropriate self-care.
  • Assess the needs of patients and provide appropriate care/treatment in conjunction with other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years post-registration experience in Primary Care General Practice.
  • Accredited training in diabetes management.
  • Registered General Nurse with current NMC registration.
