Male Child Support Specialist

Service Care Solutions Ltd is seeking a skilled and compassionate Male Bank Children & Family Support Worker to join our team. Our mission is to keep children and families together by providing a supportive environment where you can make a real difference.
Job Description:
As a Male Bank Children & Family Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing emotional support to vulnerable children and families, helping them build strong relationships and overcome difficulties.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to children and families, helping them develop coping strategies and improve their overall well-being.
- Assist with daily routines, such as meal preparation, homework supervision, and personal care.
- Help families and young people participate in extracurricular activities, promoting physical and mental health.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as teachers, social workers, and healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive support.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least 1 year of support work experience preferred; previous experience with children and young people is essential.
- Qualifications: GCSEs/NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care required; Safeguarding Level 2 certification essential.
- Ability to work with children who have challenging behaviour.
- Licenses/Certifications: A valid driving license and access to a car preferred; ability to travel extensively is necessary.
