About the Role

The Wayman Group is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated English Teacher to join our team at a reputable school in Enfield. As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to students at various proficiency levels, creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and employing a variety of instructional methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lesson Planning and Delivery
    • Develop and deliver lesson plans that cater to the needs of students at various proficiency levels
    • Employ a range of instructional methods to engage students and promote learning
  • Classroom Management
    • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and participation
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Assessment and Feedback
    • Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and constructive guidance
    • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement effective intervention strategies for struggling students
Requirements
  • Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in English or a related field
    • Qualified teacher status (QTS)
  • Experience
    • Proven experience teaching English, preferably in a primary or secondary school setting
  • Skills
    • Strong knowledge and understanding of the English curriculum
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
    • Effective classroom management skills
