Job Summary:

Hampshire County Council is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Case Worker to join our Adults Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing incoming safeguarding referrals, working closely with partner agencies, and providing effective and positive outcomes for adults at risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of complex safeguarding cases, prioritizing and allocating resources to ensure effective outcomes.
  • Collaborate with partner agencies, including the police and health service, to gather information and make informed decisions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with service users, families, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring support to junior case workers, promoting best practice and continuous professional development.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in adult safeguarding, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage complex cases.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and duties.
  • Knowledge of digital technology and its application in safeguarding practice.
