Job Description

Job Title: Female Support Worker - Bank Position

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our team at ILS Case Management. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to a young adult with cerebral palsy and epilepsy in her home in Fareham.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care, including assistance with mealtimes, medication administration, and emergency seizure care.
  • Support the individual with daily activities, such as physiotherapy stretches and mobility exercises.
  • Assist with household chores and daily living tasks.
  • Encourage independence and participation in leisure, social, and learning activities.
  • Work collaboratively with the individual's family and other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless care experience.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with young adults and individuals with cerebral palsy and epilepsy.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work with patience, tact, understanding, warmth, and compassion.
  • Reliable transportation to ensure timely attendance at shifts and training sessions.
  • Desirable but not essential: previous experience of providing hands-on care and support to enable independence.
