About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Care Development Lead to join our team at Conway Group Healthcare. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding and supervising nursing staff, student nurses, and healthcare assistants across various locations in Northern Ireland.

Key aspects of the role include providing effective clinical mentorship, supporting learning and development, and ensuring high-quality patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, excellent communication skills, and experience in facilitating learning and development for healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Mentoring staff to drive continuous improvement and quality care.
  • Supporting learners through their induction programme, evaluating progress, and providing feedback.
  • Providing academic, professional, and practical support to international nurses preparing for the OSCE examination.
  • Facilitating additional support for the care team as required.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with active NMC Pin and minimum 5 years post-registration experience.
  • Excellent working knowledge of regulatory standards.
  • Experience in facilitating learning and development for healthcare professionals.
  • Competent IT skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
