Job Overview

As the Maintenance Manager at First Call Contract Services, Ltd., you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the engineering function, ensuring the efficient operation of the production facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Reduce maintenance costs by a minimum of 10%-20% through effective planning and execution.
  2. Decrease external maintenance costs by a minimum of 20% through strategic partnerships and negotiations.
  3. Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to minimize reactive maintenance.
  4. Adopt a Safety First approach in all maintenance activities, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
  5. Develop and manage a risk assessment for the site plant and fabrication maintenance, identifying potential hazards and implementing mitigation strategies.
  6. Conduct root cause analysis for defects, internal and 3rd party non-conformities, or customer complaints related to machinery and equipment.
  7. Adhere to the Plant Preventive Maintenance schedule and implement the required checks and maintenance.
  8. Identify risks and opportunities for the plant equipment and fabrics, highlighting them to the Senior Management Team.
  9. Stay up-to-date on all training and certifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  10. Attend and implement knowledge into all current and future capital projects, ensuring seamless integration.
  11. Monitor and report on maintenance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring alignment with company goals.
  12. Attend weekly management meetings with different line managers across the organization, providing support and guidance as needed.
  13. Assist the team in implementing BRCGS accreditation, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  14. Implement measuring equipment calibration, utilities, equipment, and maintenance procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  15. Develop, maintain, and implement equipment manuals and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring clarity and consistency.
  16. Maintain a clean and well-organized engineering storage or workshop, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
Requirements
  1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in the food industry.
  2. Strong knowledge of maintenance processes, systems, and tools, including preventive maintenance and risk assessment.
  3. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance operations, including BRCGS accreditation.
