About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced chef to join our team as a Chef Trainer. As a Chef Trainer, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge and skills with the next generation of chefs, while enjoying a regular working week and a competitive salary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with chef apprentices in their kitchens and online to develop their culinary skills.
  • Use your industry expertise to train and mentor apprentices, helping them to achieve their full potential.
  • Meet with apprentices to discuss their learning needs and provide support and guidance.
  • Complete administrative and planning tasks, using Google Suite and internal platforms and systems.
  • Attend our Chef Academy with apprentices to support hands-on learning of various techniques.
  • Visit employers and provide feedback on apprentices' skills.
  • Develop relationships with employers in your area to ensure a strong network of support for our apprentices.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience at Head Chef, Sous Chef or Chef De Partie level, coupled with a passion for teaching and mentoring.
  • A good grasp of technology and administrative skills, including Google Suite and internal platforms and systems.
  • Have, or be willing to work towards, a Level 2 (GCSE) qualification in English and maths.
  • A valid Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle for travel within your region.
