Some of the professionals you will be working alongside include, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists and Counsellors.
We are looking for a dedicated Graduate to work at a lovely school in Camberley, for children aged 4-19. The school has a deep focus on addressing the educational, social and therapeutic needs of students, focusing on individual happiness and well-being where students can thrive academically, socially and emotionally. A fantastic opportunity for a Graduate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with learning difficulties, including autism, sensory impairments, physical difficulties, social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, and associated challenging behaviours.
- Work alongside teachers and specialist staff to provide consistency and equip children and young people with tools to ensure they feel safe, secure, empowered, and believe that they can succeed in life.
- Develop and implement individualized plans to support students' educational, social and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with other professionals, including Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists and Counsellors, to provide comprehensive support to students.
Requirements:
- Passionate about helping children and young people achieve their full potential.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
- Approachable, and able to build robust and effective relationships with students.
- Able to remain calm and resilient when placed in situations of stress or conflict.
- High levels of empathy, caring, compassionate, and a good listener.
- Motivated and enthusiastic, with a professional approach to work.

- Excellent on-site training, support and CPD is provided to ensure safeguarding of all students.
- £80-£90 per day, Mon-Fri, 08:30 to 15:30, PAYE, term time only.
