About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with clients who have varying and complex needs, using a strength-based approach to facilitate their development and equip them with the skills to live meaningful lives within the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments, such as moving and handling risk assessments, to support and empower clients
  • Work closely with clients, their families, and other organizations to provide an integrated service
  • Develop and implement holistic occupational therapy practice within a social care setting
  • Collaborate with the team to provide a supportive and friendly environment
Requirements
  • Professional qualification in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Experience of working within a social care, health, or community-focused multi-disciplinary setting
  • Ability to complete person-centered and proportionate OT assessments
  • Familiarity with moving and handling equipment such as hoists and stand aids
  • Knowledge of medical conditions and their impact on individuals, carers, and families
