Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our intellectual property team. The successful candidate will have previous administrative or legal secretarial experience and strong written and verbal communication skills. They will be responsible for supporting our patent attorneys, processing incoming communications, and using our case management system to provide a timely and efficient service to clients. Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting patent attorneys in accordance with official rules and regulations, and using the firm's case management system to provide a timely and efficient service to clients. This will include processing incoming communications, generating and forwarding documentation, searching for files and filing electronic correspondence, monitoring due dates/reminder lists, and liaising with external parties to resolve queries or obtain instructions. They will also be expected to maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and contribute to the development of our case management system.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need previous administrative or legal secretarial experience, strong written and verbal communication skills, good IT skills, including MS Office and Outlook, and experience of a document management system (preferred but not essential). You will also need to be able to demonstrate a self-motivated and pro-active attitude, a methodical approach with excellent attention to detail, good organisation and prioritisation skills, and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Additionally, you will need to be able to work effectively as part of a team and communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
